somehow, among the hectic chinese new year preparations, i managed to download the devil may cry 4 demo last night, and i am loving it! the graphics, the movements, the attitude, it's just wow. even though it's just the demo, i have been playing it nonstop since last night. addicted much? i wonder. dmc4 still retains many aspects of its previous games, like the beautifully choreographed moves, the dark gothic surroundings and the bad boy devil may care attitude but loses the trademark ebony and ivory (the dual black and white pistols) and a new character called nero is the main character (you get to fight against dante though :3 so i'm not complaining). capcom added in a few new features as well, such as the ingame minimap and to make up for the absence of dual wielding pistols, nero gets a sick looking devil arm which can grapple enemies and to swing across ledges. below is a decent trailer which i could find showing the demo boss fight against berial, a pit lord lookalike, and it is eyegasmic.
